THEME DAYS
For groups interested in studying a particular subject, we offer theme days focusing on:

Marine Animal Rescue Day focuses on why animals need rescuing, the impact of humans on these vulnerable and threatened animals, and a visit to a Sea Turtle Hospital. (all locations)

Marvelous Marine Mammal Day focuses on dolphins and manatees with a visit and encounter with dolphins. (Florida Keys & Mexico)

Hip Hip for Herps Day focuses on area's herpetology (sea turtles, snakes, frogs). Includes a herpetology Lab and crocodilian research project. (all locations)

Bonkers for Biology: This day offers a variety of hot topics in tropical and marine biology. (all locations)

Marine Fisheries Day: See Fisheries Lab plus participate in a fun game where you debate
current world issues involving fisheries. End with a

Rainforest Adventure: Learn about the incredible bio-diversity of a rainforest and what it takes to protect it. Hike through the jungle to learn about medicinal plants and wildlife in ancient cultures.(Costa Rica & Mexico)

Eco-Treck: Wonder what plants are good for? What animals live in these habitats? Venture into south Florida's mangrove, pine, and seashore habitats. Go slogging and hiking through marshes to tree islands to explore these endangered habitats.
